Ashwagandha, Best Supplement for an Energy Boost

A plant-derived substance has been shown to reduce feelings of stress and anxiety – two energy-draining factors.

Researchers from Asha Hospital, in India, investigated the effects of consuming ashwagandha.

For their experiment, they enrolled 64 participants who had a history of chronic stress.

At the beginning of the study, the volunteers had their cortisol levels measured – also known as the stress hormone – via a blood sample.

The individuals also completed standard stress-assessment questionnaires.

People within the study were then randomly assigned to the group receiving ashwagandha or a placebo.

Everybody was asked to take one capsule (either of ashwagandha or the placebo) twice a day for two months. read more at
